Atkins, VA – Sept. 13, 2011 TEDS, Inc, the Human Resources Talent Management software specialist, is excited to announce its newest functionality - Team Competencies. TEDS is the first to provide the
functionality for improving the effectiveness of teams within an organization. The advanced capability has already been implemented at Chrysler and proven highly effective. Until now, aggregating the competencies of individual employees into team competencies has been a labor-intensive process.
"The strong functionality in TEDS RTC (Roles, Tasks, and Competencies) Power gave us the launch point for designing and developing a new team competency management system,” said Joe Ellis, TEDS’ President and CEO. “That meant the new capabilities we developed were a seamless addition to the original TEDS RTC system, which made it even stronger for precise and effective competency management in a large, multi-location enterprise."
“It was important that we approach this project with appropriate and aggressive representation from Chrysler,” said Lynda Helton, TEDS’ Chief Development Officer. “Chrysler’s manufacturing was the real driver of this initiative. They needed a new, agile and powerful system to manage cross-functional teams across the enterprise. We also enlisted the input of Chrysler’s Business Processes Department to ensure best practices of the new software process we installed.”
